CHRONO TRIGGER

Chrono Trigger is John's favourite game and yesterday i started playing it too..Its really great! :) Even tho the game was made in 1995 it looks really good and the story is awesome. I think its a mix between Sword of Mana ( Sword of Mana was made by the same company that made Chrono - Squaresoft ) Golden Sun and Mario&Luigi-Superstar Saga.. And i liked alot all those three games! The game takes the best from all those games even tho was made 10years earlier.. Someone needs to make another Chrono Trigger! :D

Chrono Cross on playstion 1
I like Chrono Trigger much more. A remake or re-release of Chrono Trigger would be very interesting, but I think hand drawn animation is important for the game's style and atmosphere. Maybe something similar to Zelda: The Wind Waker on gamecube
could work out well. Some of the original artists are
essential for good quality.

some games stand the test of time better than others. This was one of the many great Square games of the mid-90s. I enjoy playing it thoroughly... Great, you and John got me wanting to play an other game (AGAIN! haha) :P

They already re-released Chrono Trigger for the Playstation. It's much better than the Super Nintendo version.

I think Square-Enix won't remake old games if they still run on current hardware. I heard that about Final Fantasy VII one time.

I love Chrono Cross; I look at Trigger being the mythology and Cross being the actual game.

Chrono Trigger is great, but it's sequel, Chrono Cross, is an absolute masterpiece. Beautiful enviornments, an interesting plot, a large and unique cast of character, a battle system that makes you think, and what is possibly the greatest game soundtrack ever. Along with the other PS1 RPG Xenogears, it is one of Squaresoft's forgotten gems. If only the company continued to make games like that, instead of the increasingly mediocre Final Fantasies.

Maybe John can make another Chrono Trigger? He's already doing a remake of Gauntlet so he'll know what to do :-)
