IQ Test
I was really curious to do this test( i never did any before) and see the result.... I was affraid i'll get a sub-average result or something like that :D ..I dont know how accurate this tests are anyway. But it was interesting! I just did the classic one - for a personalized result you need to pay like 12$ which i didnt..
Anyway this was my result:

Having said that, I've done tests like this before which definately give you a bit of an advantage, because you know what kind of questions are going to come up. I don't think there is a time limit either which helps. Plus English not being your first language has got to be a a disadvantage.

LOL, don't take it too serious. Most questions asked there are just plain stupid. The test doesn't reflect one's intelligence whatsoever.

IQ tests don't give the big picture on intelligence that's for sure. The human brain is to complex to be acturately tested with any test IMO. For example, how would you test an autistic savant? He would score off the chart on one subject, and then score like a 5 year old on everything else. Anyhoo...
I think you're right...but this tests are more for fun (even tho it awakes the competitive spirit in all of us and makes us hate eachother and probably even comite murrder). :D
They get pretty silly, and some are all about the wording of the question. But to drive them to murder??? ACK!
I think it'll only cause sour grapes between people who think they were smarter then they were...

Rhaluka, thanks for the interesting/fun link. Funny, I don't think of myself as a mathematician. I know it's all in fun, but I figured I'd score better with the wording. Guess I'm in the right program at University, Computer Science.
I think there's some truth in those tests !tho Maybe the results are not 100% right but there's still alot of truth in them..

Hmmmm....I think John's is probably higher than that. You can't rely on internet tests anyways. I have been tested numerous times with a score of 149, but the internet said 160. John's a high-end genius anyways, so who cares about a score.

Nice one Brian, I agree. However I found this test enjoyable and a bit of fun. I was deemed a Visionary Philosopher, for all that it was worth, have been tested at 162 in the past, but I really feel my genius can't be measured. I had a friend with an IQ of 183, he kept me humble...
i like to think that because i don't know enlish perfectly that might have had a negative influence on the test's result... :D ..or i'll just have to face the painful truth.. lol

I usually get around 124. In one of those tests I was told that I am a visual mathematician. Fits quite well since I am studying maths and programming graphic algorithms is my favorite hobby :)

That's weird... ChiQ has the same as me. <.< But yes, this is a rather limited set. I'd say that it could be a +/- 25 or something, not to mention that IQ isn't the best way to measure intellect. Don't need to take it to heart.
