Anything you'd like to comment on about Hyperspace Delivery Boy!, Monkeystone's first internally-developed title for the desktop PC and Pocket PC.  Why talk about this game here?  Because I programmed it!

Yes, you read that right: the desktop PC version is now available.  Check out the demo at http://www.monkeystone.com/products/hdb/downloads.php

It works fine on my new computer but on my old pentium II the game has very weird colors as if the pallette is messed up or something
I like the gameplay though

Sorry about that, George.  HDB uses DirectX 7.0, so if you have an earlier version you should install DirectX 8.1 and see how the demo looks.

George: What resolution do you have the Windows desktop set to? Maybe you need to set it to 32-bit color (I don't have the game yet, I'm just guessing.)

After looking over your screenshot, i'm really perplexed.  The right-hand side of the screen looks exactly like it should, but the main area doesn't.  Somehow, it looks like the 16-bit graphics are getting interpreted wrong (instead of 565 bits for RGB, it's doing something else), but only for the main screen area.  Which makes no sense, because there's nothing specially drawn there.

WOW!  Sorry about that.

Glad you guys are liking the game!  It's a lotta fun.

Yeah, and I think Heretic used the same sample that we did.  But Stevie changed it up a little so it wasn't 100% the same!

YES, in fact, the GBA version is almost finished!  It looks really great.  Right now, Lucas is busy re-creating all the music since it's XM on the GBA (we used ACID 3.0 and Reason for the PPC and PC versions).

The levels in the game have not been changed at all, either!  It's a completely faithful port.

In fact, the person doing the port was the lead programmer of Deus Ex, Chris Norden.
