I'm pretty sure it's legal in the US if and only if you are the one who dumped the ROM.

That site is all grossly biased propaganda, which is of course perfectly understandable. But some of what they say is just retarded.

In addition, the assumption that the games involved are vintage or nostalgia games is incorrect. Nintendo is famous for bringing back to life its popular characters for its newer systems, for example, Mario and Donkey Kong have enjoyed their adventures on all Nintendo platforms, going from coin-op machines to our latest hardware platforms

What in the hell does that have to do with anything? Does that mean that just because I played Mario Kart 64 I have no reason to want to go back and play Super Mario Bros. 3?

I also always thought the classic "'Archival' or 'backup' copies are not necessary and not authorized" in all the manuals. Notice they don't say "not legal".

It means that just because the original Donkey Kong is old, doesn't mean you can download or pirate it for that reason, assuming that since it's so old no one would care. Nintendo is rereleasing the original games on the GBA, so downloading it would hurt the franchaise oppossed to buying it.

The only reason I need to download it is that I want to. And I know I won't hurt the franchise myself, because if I did buy it I would only buy it to collect it. I would never actually play a 20 year old game on a console when a PC can emulate so perfectly.

Anyway, I was just saying that there example is stupid. They're clearly not talking about re-releases, but rather later instalments to each franchise's "adventures".

Romero,
Was Red Faction developed seperatly or ported from the PC/Consoles?
I just got a small taste of it and it definatly is pretty fun. I didn't really like the PC/Console cousins though.
Good Work for a pretty fun game. QD all the way, baby!

Nokia dominates the cellular market and makes several billion dollars a year. Nokia is committed to owning the handheld market.

This will change when the mega-giant Docomo release their next-gen mobile to the rest of the world... The current range of docomo mobiles only work in Japan, only the 900series kaitei have dual sim cards... Most Vodophone phones have dual sim cards which works inside Japans mobile network... they are in competition with vodophone, although docomo dominates the market in Japan... there have been a huge push for docomo kaitei to work in other countries.... you will see a huge range of docomo mobiles that will hit the world market, there about 15 different companies making docomo phones.... this will have some impact on the market, i have no idea what it will do though...

its all crazy stuff!!!
