Well, the books were written by Daffyd ab Hugh, not anyone at Id software... so he had to make some stuff up.

The books were trash IMO. Flynn Taggart is not an acceptable name. Me, and 98% of Doomers agree.

There was never a name for the DOOM marine because it's supposed to be YOU.  The DOOM novels just made up a name (we had no input on that either).  I'm not too hot on Flynn Taggart like everyone else.

I was talking about the story I read from the Text of the game not the novels his name is Flyyn Tagart or Fly for short
