I noticed on CheapAlert's rather groovy Quake Site : Gargoyle Spawning Lair, a lost mod section. I wonder if this mod would fit the bill? Sailormoon Quake TC Also, I get a lot (or did get a lot) of requests for Nirvana: Life of the Fighter by Arwing (June 2001). I did download this mod and play it, but unfortunately deleted it. It's not available on the net anymore... anybody got a copy?

It needed some polish, but it could've been good.

Wasn't even a patch on the amazingly brilliant Aliens Doom TC.
That showed what one motivated mod maker could do with his spare time.

I lost everything I downloaded from Quake terminus in a HD crash unfortunately Sailor Moon Quake, if there was a final version that's NOT on sunet.se's ftp, i'd take it. But since it's available on an ftp server anyone can go to, i'm not bothering to upload it. Anyone got Troopeux? That mod totally got vaporized without a single trace... Also, does anyone have all or most of the mods on mdqnet or quakemods? [ February 14, 2003, 09:15 AM: Message edited by: CheapAlert ]

Too bad that Colonial Marines Quake I was helping out on folded up. The pulse rifle worked pretty well.

There were actually mods on quakemods.net ? Ohhhh, I'm a bitch. There were basically only a few on Quakemods. The main one if I remember was that FBI mod (I don't have a copy I'm afraid). Update: Maybe this is it? (I haven't checked the download) : http://www.extreme-players.de/downloads.asp?ID=1037 [ February 14, 2003, 11:24 AM: Message edited by: Megazoid ]

jballou has all version of FBI on his site, forgot the site, but it is definitely up.
He also has a few others.
Quakemods had a few neat tutorials, such as a great locational damage tut.
I'm really up for Balloon fight. [ February 14, 2003, 12:04 PM: Message edited by: CheapAlert ]

The Aliens one may be illegal but most mods are illegal. Only difference is Fox cares about that one because it had potential to rob them of cash. It wasn't very good anyway. The level design was garbage considering the medium.

Yes, but the current competition to aliens quake, alien trilogy, was a load of pants too.
So why pay for pants when you get free pants. I know alot of women who agree with that.

Games modding had been going a year or two before Quake, but it was still a pretty new deal. Alien Quake hit the scene in 1996/1997, and basically 20th Century Fox completely over-reacted. See * this* . That was 5 years ago, and everything has moved on big style since then. PTP networks such as Kazaa are robbing 20th Century Fox and other Studios of millions. Humble non profit mods pale in insignificance. I bet if anybody could be bothered to question 20th Century Fox about the mod : Alien Quake. Their first answer would be "What???", followed quickly by "Yes, yes, we don't give a monkeys about it."
