Strikes me that FOX would have had other things to worry about besides a small, very incomplete, FREE Quake mod.

Oh well. Maybe they thought it'd compete with the Aliens vs. Predator game.

I was playing Aliens Quake today for a bit, trying to remeber the competition at that time, and to be honest Aliens Quake really was quite good.

I mean, it started off as a mod for Qtest!
Looking at it today it just sucks, you only need play Malice to know what a good TC feels like.

I dont think FOX have any rights to the word ALIEN!! so why stop a project, they should have just modified the models a little.

Only things I could find on the Escape to LA mod was this page (I guess it's the same mod):

http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Arcade/2028/efq.html

...and somebody who did a map for the mod before the project collapsed. (The map is Dark City at the bottom)

http://www.mrbunwah.co.uk/levels/q1_levels.html

So at least you can play one level from it..

Thanks Megazoid. I got the map.

That was the mod I was talking about. Can't forget that little pigsticker of a knife.
