There are still a few diehard Daikatana players and fans out there....here is where you can read their crazed musings and my insane answers to their apocalypic questions!

If you could go back and change something from Daikatana what would you change? replace the Froginators and moskitos maybe?

To help players get accustomed to the game quicker, I would definitely move the entire swamp section to a latter part of the first episode and probably start the game off in the Crematorium but with easier enemies.

Actually, there's much more that I would change in Daikatana if I could but what came out is what came out and I know better than anyone how it happened and I stand by the end result.

After all, it's not my last game.

The Frogs and Moskitos sucked they were hard to aim at and the idea of a cyber frog killing you by leaping at your boots was real lame. why couldn't we have swamp monsters like those seen in Hexen and maybe trees that reach out and grab you that have faces that would have been freaky and Fun.

LOL@Frogs. They died nice though.....

LOVED the Greece episode of Daikatana (minus those damned big assed spiders)!!!! The discus was a lot of fun to use I thought. One of the best weapons ever designed in a vid game methinks.

The hate for Frogs and Moskitos was so much that even their deaths  could not give satisfaction. Damn buzzing!

Alot of people hated the frogs and mosquitoes. I myself am one of those people, and as I result I haven't really felt inspired to play through the rest of the game. I'll load it back up next time I have the chance and endure the frogs and mosquitoes to see what the rest of the game is like (I remember looking at all the previews for it back in 97 and I was looking forward to checking out the levels set in the past).

I think the levels set in the past are well worth killing a few pesky bugs to get to see.

Or just use cheats to get to the episodes you're more interested in. But there are very few skeets or frogs past e1m2 anyway.

Yeah, there are so many enemies in the game that people have no idea that the frogs and mosquitos are rarely seen after the second level in the game!  THAT right there shows how badly the media twisted up everything that Daikatana was about.

I just want to publicly thank Gwog for all the years of hard work and support he has given the PlanetDaikatana site and Ion Storm and myself.

You rock, Gwog!

Ah, I see someone has recovered from the many blistering smackdowns I handed out on e1m1b

Heck, with Killcreek and TheZealot both at Monkeystone now, I've punked like 50% of that company on that map! Woohoo!

The Media likes to twist everything up and Bash the Good guys sometimes. Hell I read an article that made MotherTorisa look Bad.
