hi, im working on a couple of single player maps. The first one should be release not too late, and if there is players for it ill made more. I want fast and hardcore gameplay, so it will probably be hard. But i need help about nodes, as i need more of knowledge about that to continue seriously.
I will post download links here as soon as the first one is released.

Which time period will these maps be set in? I would be interested in playing Ep2&3 style maps.
Will you be making use of sidekicks in these maps (and if so I hope one can also get through without them)?

*digs up old topic*

Hey what's this?

*wipes of the dust*

A new Daikatana single player mission? Cool!

Too bad this topic is two years old... I would've loved to play a new mission.

Oh yes, this is a very old topic :) DI-smover couldn't finish it because I think he had an problems, he lost almost all of his map plan files, or only he didn't had enough time as he got busier with time. I don't know if there were any beta versions of map released, but I do know it never came out :( Though it would have been a great thing. I think it would have started something new for DK. Players would have started mapping single player/coop maps, and this would have ended maybe in something like the HL mod which's only cooperative, but very popular (I can't remember the name).

I think there is only 1 public custom made singleplayer mission and that was made by Wayne Smith:
"Lost Entrance: This is a "Single Player" conversion based on John Romero's e2m10 Quake-1 Lost Entrance level."

It can be downloaded here:

i made one, it didn't use the sidekicks though... and it never got out of beta...

the beta worked pretty much 100% it just didn't run as well as it should have on pcs back then. i don't have a copy left of it, but you might be able to dig something up. probably not... it was called e1mindfugue if i'm not mistaken. i was very proud of that map... was the last thing i worked on before dropping out of the mapping scene.

it never got a final release because the compile time on it was about a week by the end, and i never had time to do a full compile.

it was never properly finished but hey it might amuse people for a few minutes at least.
