Hey,
I think i lost those map sources when i lost almost all of my multiplayer maps and never worked on this again :( I'm currently looking for all the DK stuff i still have on my harddrives, but i don't have much hopes on this.
I'm gonna reinstall Ion Radiant to see if i still know how to make things of it ;)

i wish the source release from a year or so ago was organized into a project. I was thinking about the all the single player map content that could be adapted into fun MP maps this morning. Anyone know what happened to all the code/old builds the community got a while ago?

No idea. I wasn't much online at this time sorry.

I looked at my old multiplayer maps, found out that some few of them had some singleplayer ennemies in ! Well, it's only enough to have fun a couple of minutes, but it's fun anyway so here they are ;)

theprisoners :
Someone asked for this one so i made it. You got tons of ammo and you fight unnarmed prisonners. Take it easy ! Or Not (the first times).

e1Moloch :
The easiest one of those maps ?

e1ShockArena :
Well, 8 ennemies, it should be easy right ?

e1Castle :
Dozens of the infamous FROGINATORS there ! But even worse : Superfly and Mikiko are in too, if you let one of those die the game's over ! it took me a few games to find a working strategy against the frog army.

To play those singleplayer, launch the game with an option "+nameothemap" or launch Daikatana, and in the console mode type Map nameofthemap. Of course you can play Moloch, Castle and ShockArena (ouch!) in multiplayer too.

Sadly there's no real end for these levels, as they were not meant to be "real" singleplayer maps, so you have to press tab and see if all the foes rest in peace by yourself.
