Hi There.. I've know this for a long time..and I never found a way to release it..and anyway..the bot realy suck..it doesn't interact with the environement..I mean, it won't explore the level by itself...it don't take weapon..but can hurt you like with the Daikatana...

First of all, this thing is'nt much a bot, it's using monster in deathmatch map. My first try was to take the lycanthir model, and replace it by mikiko's one. So now you'll say "why the lycanthir model?" .. If you played the single player, you already know the answer..because lycanthir alway respawn:)

Then I have to say that, you can't expect playing against a real bot. Monsters can only be spawned in single player so one time you used item in the level, they won't appear again. Then one time they had died, they can't respawn (execpt lycanthir).

Anyway, you'll see all the bug by your self:)

This is easy as abc, first of all, open Daikatana;) then load up a map, deathmatch map or single player map..Then bring the console and type:

spawn monster_%name --> Spawn the %name monster
exemple:
spawn monster_lycanthir

If you need help

spawn Mikiko --> Spawn Mikiko
spawn Superfly --> Spawn Superfly

Here's the list of monster you can spawn:

Try this:
Make a DM-map
Put in a monster
Put some node_node in there
Connect the monster with the nodes
Select the monster and then with "the shift key" the first node. Hit CTRL+k
Then connect the nodes:
Same as with the monster, select node1 and then node2, finish with CTRL+k
Repeat above for each node you did put in there.
Then select each node and hit the property key "n"
Select a choice from the popup window,
do a different choice for each node.
Make a note of what you marked.
Compile the map
Run the map
Does the monster do any of the marked actions ?
Come back and tell

I did some new tests and have a monster follow a path. That was pretty cool, i put him in an ignore state and then on end_of_path triggered monster to attack. It was that flying monster from EP4 with machinegun.
Sarge, i found out why the nodes disappeared,
they need to be save separately. Under "Region" in Radiant i think it was ?. And as of that loaded with the map you put them in.  (I'm not on my cpu again   .)
But for getting some action using nodes i got nil results. Since we don't know which capabilities the monsters have it's an endless trial and error to figure out how it works
That "gce_hud" command seems to be a way to record something, but i couldn't get it to do much
of a work. Some extended tests maybe reveal something.
