I'm-m-m-m-m-m-m back! Hehehe.
Okay, these updates are seriously overdue. All of them are for DK2:

Jenn-n-n-y implented a new fog system in the Quake II engine part of it, thanks to that ragin' asian(love ya hon!). It really looks cool but you will need a pretty good card from Nvidia to experience the fog system (same used in RTCW, only compatible with stupid Nvidia cards).
Jenny has also experimented with different model implentations. So far, she's gotten the new model format (.dk2) developed (md2 and md3 merged), but it is not yet compatible with the Quake II/DKII engine yet (not playable in ANYTHING, not even been able to develop the animations for the new format, but it looks *cool*)
3dfx has updated the website (dk2.notinsane.net) a little and expect more updates in the future. Concept art is all finished for the characters, enemies, and weapons. All will be uploaded by 3dfx next week.
Doob has completed his Quake II research phase and is on the way to program both games of DK2. Sexy Jenny only enhances and adds things on to the two seperate engines    for the two DK2 games (both of you are incredibly smart!).
Alex is on his way completing the first opening demo levels of Dk2: Shadowcaster (un-textured   . Good job bud!

Alas, aside from me, Jenny, Doob, Alex, Soulwoulf, and some guys from FantasySquare, everyone else has left the team. Anyone who might be interested in expanding John Romero's incredible 'Daikatana' universe is strongly encouraged to give me an e-mail contained in my sig. ALL help is appreciated.
(These updates are intended to provide the viewer with what we have done. Take all of these things with a grain of salt, as we do not even have a stable team yet. Things could change dramatically without notice, so drop by ice-d to get the latest and greatest).
Bye

1.) This page is a joke: dk2.notinsane.net
2.) You can't use the brand "3dfx"
3.) Where are screenshots and other updates of the game? On the website are only advertisements of other things.

Trust me DI-MeisterM, we've already been through this. He's not going to budge.

PS: Daikatana 3 screen shots!

It was just on a slow host that loads in it really ugly layers. I put it on a new host, and I'll touch it up a bit later.

edit: If you're on a slow connection, it will still load in ugly layers because it's not worth my time to compress properly.

By art do you mean screen shots? Because art is useless, screen shots are what judges how far you've gone. If I remember correctly, the last screen shots contained a black screen, a gun model from daikatana (much like in my screen shot), and a "HUD" that had Sonic's face. Not much to show how hard you've worked on the project really, as it was something anyone with photoshop or even MS Paint could do.

No, I'm on a 2Mbit connection
I was just talking about your modified HL² screenshot. Even without the modification I think that HL² doesn't look that incredible everyone says, but that's another topic.

I have a video of Half-Life 2 that's over 20 minutes long, and it looks awesome.

Anyways, the DK2 site needs a lot of content. The boring text isn't cutting it for me.

I sold the source code to Gabe for DK2, and he decided to make Half Life 2 for that. Now, I'm working on the sequel to Duke Nukem Forever, until Duke Nuken for ever and ever. It'll be out soon, we promise.

Heh...funny.

Yeah, so 3dfx's site is a little devoid of content. They'll get the work up. Don't worry.
Uh, as far as posting current 'as-of-now' work, we've decided to hold off until it looks a little cooler. Right now the new lighting system looks HORRIBLE, downright ugly. I think we're going to pull it from the game. The current screenies we are going to show is work from the Quake III version of DK2 developed from the time we were using Quake III (lighting also blows but it actually has the dk gun animated!!). The site layout is going to look pretty cool. Yeah, so 3dfx advertises a little too much. That's the price we pay for using notinsane.net, and it is very small. Besides, notinsane.net rocks (and I noticed the pun...ahem).
Again, if anyone here is interested in helping us, swing by my e-mail. Currently, we need another programmer and artists.

Until it "looks cooler"? Why not show your progress and not worry about how cool you think it is?

Indeed, why not show us a screenshot? You already showed that "shot" from before, so anything could be an improvement. Hell, you even mentioned us seeing progress in this thread:
