I just saw that John Romero added some of his Apple ][ games to the Mobygames database. He even included some information about what the game is about.

Next time you should also add yourself to the credits of a game.

To show you how much I appreciate it that you add your games to the Mobygames database, I just added the PC version of Twilight Treasures.
Is there also a Apple II version of that game called Twilight Treasures or is the only Apple II version called Treasure Dive (from Nibble Magazine)?

The Apple II version was originally called Twilight Treasures, but when it was published in Nibble magazine it was renamed Treasure Dive. I didn't really like the new name, but whatever - I got my $200. Heh.
I feel so dumb having written that game because it was sooooo simple and I've seen much better designs for small games with that same setting. Ah well.

How many levels are there in the PC version of Twilight Treasures? I just got to level 8 and I got the chest, but I didn't get it back to the boat.

4 posts in a row . I tried to add the Apple II version of Twilight Treasures to the Mobygames database, but I got this responce from an approver: quote: Would you be able to get a disk image (.dsk) of this -- maybe from John himself? I want to confirm the name of the game via an emulator as there seems to be some debate about what it was actually called.
I don't have the Apple II version of Twilight Treasures, so could someone help me with this? Maybe John himself ?

Hey Frenkel -- I'm that approver. Your submission sent me on a treasure dive of my own! I managed to convert all the Nibble disk archives to disk images (.po format) for use in AppleWin. After a text search of all the images, I found "Treasure Dive" in the Dec '89 issue by Robert Lavelock & John Romero. So feel free to send that pending submission back and I'll add the separate name to the release info. Thanks for the submission -- we still need lots of AppleII submissions. At only 258 games in the DB, there's lots of room to grow. [ March 29, 2004, 12:00 AM: Message edited by: knockstump ]

I guess they don't allow downloads from the 'incoming' directory.
PM me your email address and I can send you the image.

I think you're right.
I just uploaded Bongo's Bash and I can't download it (back).
