I'm looking for Fan sites of this game and if you can post pics I would gratly appreatiate it.
The reason being is that some of the monsters in the game bare stricking resemblence to Doom's. My freind showed me this one shot of a monster and it looked like a cross between the pinky and Barron, it was weird I couln't tell what it was more of.
anyway I wonder what else from that game looks similar to doom? Theres evena monster that looks like a pink demon, but it had red skin, a nose and it's eyes are off to the side.

Nothing looked too much like Doom monsters to me.

I would be very suprised if a fan site for Catacomb 3D Abyss, Armageddon, and Apocalypse exists.

Finally we have a forum for Softdisk games and yet you posted this question in General Gaming   .

Here is a site about the Catacomb serie which is very old:
http://www.classicgaming.com/catacomb/

and I've got a little site about the 2D Catacombs at http://www.student.tue.nl/u/a.f.smeijers/sfp/games/catacomb.htm

Well it seems, Frenkel and the Oracle are Catacomb Abyss (and 3d)'s biggest fans

Though it ahs to be mentioned that me and Cheapy are Heretic (1)'s greatest fans.

It would be nice to be a real hardcore Doom fan, the problem is there so many experts of that amazing game out there, way too much competion.

I'm actually more of a Doom Fan. maybe not the most hardcore but?..I was very close to paining my room to the Doom wall textures. I suppose just liking Catacomb Abyss makes you a big Fan, since there's no competition lol.

thanks for the link Frenkel! I was about to give up even with all the Google serching I did.

And thsoe Demons really do resemble the ones from Doom;)

You mean d'sparil?

We don't have much Hard-core quakers here, so I guess me and Megazoid fit in that bill only.

Some times I prefer Quake over Doom because of Quakes perfect atmosphere, and yah that one red dude does look like a Pinky demon.

actually they'er both the same. they only look different because they'er in different posses.
but looking at'em now, does anyone else think that the original pinky would have looked better with smaller eyes set to the sides, and a nose?

That same "pinky demon" from Catacombs also exists in Hovertank (was there first)

It doesn't matter in a different thread in a different reality. I won this debate. But Satory had to create an alternet reality parralel to this one. where everything is different from after he said "I'm moving this to softdist forum"... IT'S AN INSANO WORLD in here.
