Mine is the Vectrex. I'd still pay quite a bit to get one of these. Vector Graphics, monitor built in, 64K of memory (the Atari 2600 which was out around the same time, had 8K plus what ever was in the cart), 360 degree joystick.... It was amazing, just never caught on.

I dunno bout my favourite console but I think I started playing games on PC but our first console was the Colecovision. So who knows? I'm a fan of Nintendo Consoles =D...

I know that I'm the only one here who's going to say this, but the Sega Saturn ruled.

Heh. Not the only one.
Guardian Heroes alone puts it up there. Then you throw in Virtua Fighter 1/2/Remix/Kids, Virtua Cop 1/2, NiGHTS, Sega Rally Championship ("Very long to the right, baby!"), Shining Force III, Panzer Dragoon 1/Zwei/Saga, the Street Fighter games...

Indeed, an underappreciated system.

Ouch...this is a tough one. I guess my favorite console would be the Playstation.

My old Sega Genesis follows as a close second though. Lot of good memories there.

I like the NES best. Some true classic games made for that unit. I can't count the times I smiled when playing on mine.

My favorite system would probably be the Genesis, for obvious reasons to those that know me well.

My childhood, crammed full of Sonic the Hedgehog and Calvin & Hobbes, although not a productive one, was a happy one.

...so ignore what I said earlier about "16 years down the drain."

The good old NES.  No other system has Bionic Commando, Castlevania, Contra, Crystalis, Mega Man, Super Mario Brothers, and Zelda in their original 8-bit glory.

I think the two sonys are fantastic. I remember playing on the older systems back in the day, but none of them made a huge impression and stood out for me. These days PS2 gets the most use, with good reason

True for that, I've never experianced great gaming untill my sega genisis. But it didn't really started going with it all untill I got a Playstation. And now, i must also say the Ps1 and Ps2 have been bringing great times for the longest time  since...

this little jem -

the atari jaguar, the 1st 64 bit console, released in 93 but not as popular as the snes and genesis at the time.  Its still popular with many atari fans and some small companys are still making games for it!
