The 700 is the newer model which is slower than the older 500 model... When traveling from Osaka to Tokyo, the 500 is 30 minutes quicker...

Yeah they rock, they also carry 16 large size carriages... the shin-stations platforms are twice the length of a normal train station platform.. Because of the huge length of the 700, they have to put people on the front part first, then the shinkansen has to move forwards a little, then let people get on the back part of it... Top speed is 330km/hr...

Also there are electric gates on the platforms, when the shinkansen emits tones, the electric gates open... The shinkansens are all computer operated... there are no human drivers, there is a person in the cockpit, his job is to keep an eye on the computers... yeah amazing stuff...

Is it comfortable to ride on those trains? I bet it is, and the ticket must
be very expensive too.

The new mobile phone that just came out... If the person that is using this phone makes a phone call to your mobile, they will know exactly where you are... this phone can retrieve your GPS...

Scary stuff....

wow... hey, you know they don't even really need GPS to figure out where you are... that can be found simply by working out what cell node is picking up your signal... now sure it's not overly accurate, but you can come pretty darn close to figure out where someone is in an Urban center.
