Yeah i like the use of red, they are the kind of paintings you could read alot into..

like the first one, maybe the red suggests blood? and the guy, a silouette.. could be the murderer whos in the darkness, suggests mystery.... very interesting...

I like all but the last one, but I honestly can't give you a good reason for the latter. I think it just comes down to aesthetic preference. Nice work.

Hey, Michael ... is that Crono picture a drawing you did yourself?  Looks pretty good with the color added.  I remember the first drawings I did of Crono, Marle, and Aila in 8th grade.  A good technique is to use a mechanical pencil, then trace it in black ink, finally color it with color pencils.  I prefer PRANG color pencils to other brands.

edit :: The pics came from the instruction manual ... I wish I could find them so I could post them for you guys.
