WEW! GLAD I DIDNT BUY THAT LIPSTICK HOLDER At the time, it was the absolute best thing available. A color screen, lighted, with an 18 hour battery life. The true backlight kicked that back to 10-13 hours.

it wasn't a backlight. It was lighted from the sides, which is why the picture looked so washed out.
The new SP screen looks way better than the DS screens....which is kind of dissapointing.

i just have the first gba model.. no backlight..
i have to play in some awkard positions to get a good visable screen.. lol

Remember the six hour life of the Game Gear? Lets be honest here. The game gear got nowhere near 6 hours. The lynx was even worse....god, i hated mine.
