I kinda saw the battery kickback coming...:P.

Remember the six hour life of the Game Gear?

Lets be honest here.  The game gear got nowhere near 6 hours.

The lynx was even worse....god, i hated mine.

It easily got six hours with alkaline batteries.

Likewise, people said they got 45 minutes with their Nomad, but I get two and a half to three, depending on the game, with alkalines.

In the 1990's, heavy duty (zinc cadmium) batteries were in high demand and high supply.  Now you can only find them at dollar stores.
