Alright, anybody who's seen VH1's (excellent) "I Love The 80's" show knows what I'm talking about.
Grab a buncha topics of pop culture (movies, music, stars, fads, video games, TV, etc...) from individual years and reminisce in between music videos. Then have "Then & Now" with Weird Al.

I dunno, anything that really sticks out to you?

(...yeah, I'm bored, too. This will get deleted if it goes nowhere.)

Anyways, I'll kick it off with...

Jurassic Park. The year: 1993.
The first movie I ever saw where a guy got killed on the can. It freaked me out, at the age of 6...

Hell yes.

Predator II was an absolute disgrace. Not even a shadow of the first one.

Quoth Danny Glover & Gary Busey after that flick...
"KILL ME! I'M RIGHT HERE!!"

Take it easy, please.
I understand and respect your concern. I'll admit, my parents were (and are) a bit lax. I do wish they were a bit tougher.

They didn't take me to the theaters. Not a snowball's chance of them doing that. I saw it on video, and they didn't want me to, but I did. I was a curious (stupid) kid. They also didn't want me playing DOOM, but I did it anyway. Heck, they still don't want me playing it.
A little of my parents' fault, and a little my own.

And I'm suspicious of those things leading to my quick temper characteristic...

But please, let's get back on topic, shall we?

Man the org. Aliens was the best movie in the world. I have seen almost every Horror movie that has ever been made. My parents let me watch all of the Friday the 13th and shit when I was a kid growing up because they didnt think that it was wrong, but then again my parents are European so shit like that was not bad to them

The 90's had lots of cool stuff like DooM, Babylon 5, Jurassic Park, and all kinds of super plastics.

The 90's also brought us a pile of shit that should be thrown off the Earth, like SUVs, aweful pop music, even more political correctness in the wrong places, EA as a big game company, and all kinds of dumb fads like Giga Pets, Pokemon, etc.
