Come on, there has to be something we can discuss.  I'll even settle for Stage-It waxing poetic on Sega.

Seems theres not too much to talk about. Todays consoles and game line ups are rather boring to me these days.

I liked the Moonlight Sonata level on EWJ2, where you were just the baby worm thing.

The first one kicked ass. The second one wasn't nearly as good. The only thing I hated about the first one was the goddamn "Down the Tubes" shit where you had to drive the bubble vehicle through a bunch of rocks before you ran out of time or crashed a bunch of times and got stabbed to death by the glass. The bungee jumping level was cool; I liked the music :P

I think Earthworm Jim had the best sprite animation of the SNES.  The sprites looked like they were ripped straight from a cartoon in production.  The music was weird and cool,... all the sounds were wacky,... the whole game is kinda wacky and trippy.   I liked how he had this little red raygun that shot like a machine gun.   \

EWJ actually had a cartoon and a comicbook, too.   The game came first though.

The best part about Earthworm Jim was the music from the second level.  Plays upbeat music with people screaming in the background.  I always found that hilarious.

I have some episodes of that on a VHS somewhere. My sister bought it for me a long time ago. And I have some action figures in my closet.

But the creator of Earthworm Jim, Doug TenNapel, made a couple of other games and comics. One of the comics, Creature Tech, is one of the coolest graphic novels I've come across.

He does a lot of stuff. Check out his page: www.tennapel.com

I remember watching the Earthworm Jim Christmas special many years ago. Earthworm Jims appearance in Clay Fighter 63 1/3 was pretty awesome. I suggest buying the "Directors cut" version of Clay Fighter if interested. Booger Man also appeared as a playable character too.

Earthworm Jim also appears as a secret playable character in Battle Arena Toshinden. (Playmates was the distributor for both EWJ and BA:T)

Earthworm jim always came on after Freakazoid! on WB Saturday mornings in 1995-1996.

Speaking of Stage-It , where the hell has he been?  I've not even seen him on AIM anymore... anyone know anything about what he's been up to?
