about the ps3 and its graphics... I don't know who does, but I don't give a care in the world about graphics. For example, I downloaded the HDB demo earlier, and I have to say its now one of my favorite games. The graphics are maybe snes-era-ish. Do I care? No! Its an awesome game! Stupid mainstream and its love for all things realistic. Isn't non-realism what makes games fun? I don't want to play a game where I have to wash the dishes, unless the dishes are really aliens, and they eat my brains, ya know?

Blue-Ray is bullshit. If the format changes their going to sell us the same digital transfers that are not Mpeg compressed. I also find HD DVD's a waste.

Not quite.

If you have an HD TV and have seen HD movies, you know why its worthwhile.  There were many people saying "we don't need more than VHS", but where are they now?  Well, they're saying, we don't need HD-DVD or Blu-Ray ;)

I don't read any hype about new systems. Infact all I look for is the up coming games and how they're going to look..
If they look nice, or spankin good, then there's a plus to that system that has it. If a system has alot of good titles coming to it, then there's even more points for said system..

Cost of a system, or what people think a system will cost, is pointless. Every new system is going to cost an arm and a leg.

Right now, I'd buy an Xbox 360 IF i had the money. but i'm still gonna wait, I probably won't buy a 360 untill a year from now. Same with the PS3. Unless, i end up getting a fairly nice paying job or win the lotto, but odds are i'm not going to be owning any of the next gen systems unitll a good year or 2 or after their launch. Especally, for the benifit of having a bigger selection of games to pick over..

Yes, me too, although money for me is a matter... My parents are the providers. But anyway, I think that the 360 is too much like a computer, and I already have a gaming computer, so why get a system, too? The PS3 also looks too much like the PS2, and I'm kind of tired of it. Ooh new graphics, big deal. I love rogue-like games. Not much for graphics there. But the Wii is actually something NEW, and it will cost less. Guess which one im getting.

The Wii is the only system I see worth even buying right now, just because they at least brought in some originallity instead just saying, "Here, we've got what we had before only updated to keep up with today's graphical standards.  Have fun with all the remakes of the stuff you just bought."
