Word.  The Level 27 boss from Descent 1 still scares the crap out of me when it teleports in front of me...

"OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!"

By the way, I actually was disappointed in polygon graphics when I went from Genesis/32X to Nintendo 64 in 1998, although Zelda 64 was just plain awe inducing.

Even by today's standards, a v1.1 or 1.2 Zelda 64 cart looks passable.

Where exactly did it get off topic?  The NES stuff?  Still seems pretty on topic, they were comparing the install base to that of the PS1.
