This is one of the neatest games iv'e played in a while, anyone else playing it?

I haven't played it yet. I love the unique art style of the game though. I'll try and get it.

Been playing it since the day it came out.  Very well done.  The only thing that miffs me about it is the lack of widescreen support.

I'd have to second that.  Still looks great despite the slight stretchiness, though.

I was hanging out a the local videogame/comicbook store like usual and everytime I showed Okami to someone who was looking for an action/adventure game, they would comment on how they didn't want to play a game where you are a dog.  So that may be one reason why Okami is being ignored.
