Nintendo Revolution starting to look gooooooooooooood.

Now that we're seeing some examples of how developers are going to use the new controller,.. and the fact that it will be cheaper than both the 360 and PS3,.... I'm very interested.   The Red Storm stuff they showed was looking really really fun.   It's a cool way to make console FPS games actually not suck crusty monkley ass!  And of course all the other possibilities.   Yes,.. I believe I am very interested.

I think I'll just end up buying all of the consoles, eventually. Right now there isn't a particular game I need to have that's coming out on the Wii. The next Zelda game... maybe... but it's also coming out for the Gamecube.

Wii makes me tired. This is the first thread that I see on this in here which is fine. But Most of the other forums that I am on are drowning in Wii posts. Oh my god is it boring. I'm getting to the point that I might not even buy one because I'm so sick of hearing about it.
Anyway, enough of my rant... nothing wrong with this thread... just had to get it out...

I'm actually more tired of hearing about the Gaystation 3 and the YXBOX 720, both of which suck balls.

The Wii is actually the console that I believe deserves MORE attention.

yeah, the Wii looks awsome, cause its the only system with ingenuity

like, ps3 and xbox 360 arent really gaming consoles, they are just little computers, and like, sure the games are fun, but the systems themselves arent much more than just...computers.

The Wii is offering this really neat arcade style of gaming that i love, and its doing it in an innovative way

not to mention the ps3's price is absolutely rediculous, pisses me off to no end.

I pray to Jesus Sony fails. Its never will though. Are their still articles supporting the Wii's backward compatibility to cube games? I hope it doesn't require allot of emulation updates like the Xcox 360 does.

I'm also so exited about downloading and playing classic game roms on my Wee. I need to find new ways to play with it.

oh yeah, that's the other tiring story... how 360 and PS3 suck... yes, I get it... Saying that the sky is blue over an over again and being right doesn't make it any less boring.

Testify! I just got Daxter and X-men and both are brilliant beautiful games. Wow!

Satori has been living under a rock for ten years ...

XBox 360, PS3.  Same hardware/software interface (i.e. horsepower, LAN, controller).  Expensive development.  High costs = less innovation.  High hardware costs = lower console install base.

High costs equate to less innovation because if the developers try something new, and fuck up the sales, regardless of how good the game it is, they lose a ton of money.

Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo Wii.  All new hardware/software interface (i.e. 56K modem, VMU, controller design for both machines, Classic gaming emulation for both machines, although DC only had that in Japan).  Insanely Cheap development.  Low costs = more innovation.  Low hardware cost = greater install base.

For innovative games, take what I said above and reverse it, then factor in Indie developers and Indie publishers.

It's obvious you only factor in specs as to whether or not a console kicks ass.  You admitted to not having one since the ColecoVision.  How the hell can one bypass the NES, Sega Genesis, SNES, N64, PS1, and Dreamcast?!
