I thought I'd mention this game since it's going to be made by the developers of Chrono Trigger. It's going to be a RPG for the Xbox 360. That's all I know. It's going to be awesome.

Blue Dragon is a RPG for the Xbox 360 video game console. It is being developed by Artoon based on a design by Final Fantasy series originator Hironobu Sakaguchi, who continues to supervise development. Microsoft hopes this game's release will be a great boon to Xbox 360 sales in Japan, as it will be one of the first traditional Japanese RPGs to come to Microsoft's system. The RPG genre is especially popular in Japan; the failure of Microsoft's first games console, the Xbox, in Japan is often attributed, in part, to the system's lack of traditional Japanese RPGs.

It is being developed by the creators of Chrono Trigger, an extremely successful RPG. The game features art from Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball and visual designer and illustrator of one of Japan's most popular video game series, Dragon Quest. Blue Dragon's soundtrack is to be produced by Nobuo Uematsu, a composer responsible for much of the music in the popular Final Fantasy game series. The music is going to be performed live at the PLAY! A Video Game Symphony concert in Chicago on May 27, 2006 with Nobuo Uematsu in attendance.

Such a strange looking game, that one.  I'm not a big fan of the Dragon Ball Z style, yet this game is oddly compelling.

I'm probably going to give it a rental first, see if I want to put the money towards the full price.
