I'm British - US shops and sites won't ship to me. My only bets are Ebay, and Amazon. I've never seen it in any shops around here.

Dude, Foils will have it for defo.  Also, ask at your local Waterstones and they will order it for you.  Nice people that they are!

Unconcious -

MOD is pretty much a must read, especially if you are hanging out from time to time in these forums. It is very well written and researched. Ive read it twice, and there are very few books I take the time to read more than once. Get it and enjoy it.

Yeah, I've been meaning to - I'll buy it next week, once I've got my hands on some more money.

Hey dude, if it's any help - I ordered the book on Ebay at this BRITISH shop:

They still have a few copies left:

Indeed a good read. My friend, who always wondered why the hell I liked DOOM so much, lent me the book. It had him hooked. Good book.

I feel the need to point out (again) that it's John's fault I'm into computers so much. :D

I have read the book and I think it's great. One of the only books I have read on my own terms. hehe. :D I suggest anybody who is into video games to check it out. I like how it also follows the history of video games in a way. I can't wait for a part 2, whenever John releases this MMO.

Any idea if there's a place in Australia that might have it brand new? It's kinda hard finding one on the Internet down here since most stores don't have a website, what with electricity on the way and all down here.

I think most "big" bookstores can order it for you. That was the case with me - i went to a big bookstore, asked for it, they say they don't have it but they can order it and a week later i had it.

Of course you can also do that manually and order it via amazon :-p

And get it for cheaper, too. Some paperback versions of it are selling for about $5 right now
