I'm proud to announce Asstroidz Beta v017. Right now this may seem like an Asteroids clone, but its building to something even better!  I'm just so glad its made it this far and I wanted to show off the basic functionality.

Here are some features that the finished version will have

-Missions
-Each different ship will not only be a different color, but will have a different shape. On top of that they will have different handling, armor, and weapons capabilities.
-weapon and health power ups
-sweet background images
-interesting story
-music and sound
-and more!

Here is a link to the playable beta version. Keep in mind this is in a very early state.

Sorry for double post but HOLY CRAP!!! Don't all rush at me with suggestions all at once!!! NEW VERSION!!!


Here's a list of what I've added...

-Ability to play again after game over.
-Sound effects
-Streaming NetRadio during gameplay (custom plugin written by yours truly)

There might be more but I'm not sure. These are the big ones though. As always let me know what you think, and what could be changed/made better.

I was going to comment on this earlier, but forgot about the thread.

It's pretty smooth right now. I was going to ask if you could include sound effects, but you've got that covered. How about some particle effects from explosions and the like?
