Best/Worst Game ending

Undying goes on my top 20 best games of all time... It also goes on my top 20 worst endings of all time... what a pant load ending that was. I got the whole HP Lovecraft thingey, but it was just over the top and felt like it was lifted right out of a console platform jumper.

THE BEST:

Wolfenstein 3D: "Let's see that again!" DeathCam was genius.
Rise Of The Triad: "Action-wise, I've been in tougher bar fights, for crying out loud." Some great one-liners in the ending.
Final Fantasy 9: It had a little bit of everything, and was extremely satisfying to watch, especially after beating death itself.
Duke 3D: Two words - Eyeball Football.
Diablo 2: One of the best endings of all time. Just see it.

THE MIDDLING:

Conker's Bad Fur Day: The "Game Crash" bit was extremely funny, but then it just became all serious, kind of odd considering the game was a comedy.
Unreal Tournament: Cruddy ending, but the feeling you get from finally beating off Xan is just great.
Doom: Just a static screen, but it's timed so well with the music, and the overall effect...

THE DOWNRIGHT CRAP:
Quake: As one british games mag said, "All that way for THIS? You bastards!"

arjay, you thought conkers was middle?  I thought it was the coolest ending.  You don't know what you've got until its gone......... gone...       Quake 2 did suck.  I was so mad when I finished it!!! whoa! a friggen hand! what a cool ending.
