umm ok so i try aliens TC and hacx in a sourport like skulltag and i cant figure it out. why dont they include .deh support!? old tc like hacx and aliens tc simply wont work with them. (im repeating myself arent i?) anyway how the heck do you use command lines or parameters or whatever i need to get them to work? and wheres my sniper rifle? a stupid kid in school called doom gay for having 16-17 year old graphics!(srry... i have no way of taking out my rage)

anyway how the heck do you use command lines or parameters or whatever i need to get them to work?

You are asking for 'command lines or parameters ' , so I assume you are using Microsoft's Windows.

Before using the command line, you should install skulltag and the TCs you are going to
play into ONE folder, let's say ''c:\doomdata' . Now that everything is prepared, please proceed using the
command line.

Please open the ''RUN' Window (Hit the 'Windows Key' & 'R'  at the same time),  type 'cmd' and hit ENTER
(or click the OK Button. Now the window with the command line should be usable.

First, go to your skulltag directory  by typing 'cd c:\doomdata'  and pressing the ENTER key.
Now, you can enter the parameters to control skulltag's behaviour. I do not know, which parameters
and files are necessary for aliens tc, but let's say you have 'aliens.wad' and 'aliens.deh' that needs to
be added to skulltag. Let's furtheron assume, that you are using more than one IWAD and
doom2.wad is required for this TC. The parameter string should look like:

'skulltag.exe -iwad doom2.wad -file aliens.tc aliens.deh'

To fiddle around with old TCs, I would recommend DOSbox and the original dos-engines,
but this needs some basic knowledge of DOS operating system, which needs some
Effort readiness to aquire.

Concerning your rage and anger, I woul like to recommend this
book
I did not read it, but it sounds promising. :-)

That won't help setting up a server, because there isn't an option to include dehacked files. I for myself solved this by putting the dehacked file into the wad file as a lump, using XWE. But, then all players must use that new wad file. This way skulltag will use the dehacked stuff without command line parameters.
